WB Mark Raupach
Mentor #772
President Elect of the 25th District Blue Lodge Association

Mark is having a heart cath done on Jan 25 due to a probable blockage.  Please keep Mark and his family in your prayers.

Ken Kempka
Evergreen #222

WB Ken Kempka of Evergreen 222 has had some recent health issues.  He recently had a heart attack and several strokes which caused him to curtail some of his activities.  On Thursday, 1-09, he entered Pittsburgh Va for a catherization of the heart and to have a stent or two placed to relieve a 60% blockage of the left side of his heart.  However, on 1/10 after the cath was inserted it was determined by the Chief Surgeon that the medication used to assist in the stent placement would probably cause a massive stroke.  Therefore, the stents were not placed and the procedure stopped.   He will receive cerebral evaluations and a nueorsurgeon will determine what further heart treatment he can receive. He returned home on Saturday, is in good spirits and said he's going to "get on with it..."  Ken and Anna thank everyone for their prayers and good thoughts, and he hopes to see everyone after a short convalescence at home...

Update on Glenn Stone 1/3/08
Newton Falls #462

Well, I have Glenn home and we are having Home Health Care come in.  He's suppose to have some physical theraphy so guess they will take care of that too.
They wanted him to go to a nursing home and have therapy.  We went last night and both of us wanted to cry and he sure didn't want to stay and I didn't want to leave him.  So I brought him home.  I pray I did the right thing.  That home was terrible and reminded me of wards in WWI.
So far he's doing well.  Very tired and sleeps a lot, but he did that before surgery.  I guess at 85 he's allowed.
Thanks for all your prayers and still keep us in your prayers.  We do need it.  Isn't God great?

God Bless,
Mari Jane
